SCIENTISTS FIND ANXIETY ‘OFF SWITCH’ HIDDEN IN THE BRAIN

New research shows that boosting serotonin in this brain region slams the brakes on anxiety, making mice more confident and less fearful.

Lower serotonin? Anxiety spikes.

For years, serotonin was seen as an anxiety trigger. Looks like the cerebellum just rewrote the rulebook.

The cause of all the (individual and nationwide) anxiety is the bigger question. "Switching" anxiety off, is fighting the symptom.
