Seriously fuck this book, fuck every book like it, and to hell with David Kirk. Teaching children to ignore their instincts and befriend predators is evil, and will get children hurt. This story has nothing to do with having empathy or overcoming prejudice. It is propagandistic grooming. The only silver lining to reading it is teaching my children to beware of messages like this.
