As a new parent who has been thinking about this for years I completely agree, but it is really difficult to set up. It takes a lot of money to be able to move your loved ones, extended families or like minded families to an area where this would work.

The only solution I have come up with to be able to do this is get filthy rich, but a ton of land, then convince other families to join. Not easy and you have to do it fast enough before your kids grow up.

Alternatively you join a group like this that already exists but they have to fit your world view, and you have to be okay leaving your current extended family if they aren’t ready to join.
