GTA 6 has taken longer to develop and cost more than it took to build Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.
Burj Khalifa:
Cost: 1.5 billion USD
Time: 6 years to build
GTA 6:
Cost: 2 billion USD (Estimated)
Time: ~13 years (full production ~8 years)
Fun fact: the burn rate is more often than not an indicator of financial shenanigans more so than bad management.
