What don’t you like about prefixed commits?

It generally makes them easier to categorise for things like change logs.

Changelogs are completely useless and accomplish nothing.

If you organize your commits decently the commits are your changelog.

Exactly, we don't need another bunch of text to explain the text we already have in git history. People really should just learn how to write.
