@jennapool23 @joeygllghr I think that when societies are open and honest with their young people, when they treat them with respect, when they raise them to be responsible for their own actions they have no problem telling a potential creep to get lost. Infantilizing them created this problem.

So that's 80 million Germans who have no problem with 16 year olds choosing their own partners.
If you have evidence that the German laws cause harm, then present it. We will go to Berlin and make them change their laws.
@jennapool23 @joeygllghr In fact all across Europe, over 500 million people live perfectly normal fine lives where the age of consent is 14, 15, or sometimes 16.
and nobody is screaming hysterically about pedophilia, etc.
