Nicely done. Found some leaks too. Sadly we missed out the fiddleheads.

But we got an early flush of chicken of the wood’s mushroom.

The season is young!

Depending on your area. Saddle backs or pheasant backs are out.

They are easy once you learn the key features.

Oh interesting! I’m going to go cross check with my mushrooms of Newfoundland book - we’re pretty delayed here. I harvested my fiddleheads 8hrs away where the seasons are much more predictable.
