My Grandpa served in the Korean War on the MASH unit transporting soldiers from helicopters to the hospital

He doesn't talk much about his service but always said God had a plan for him (I'm lucky to be a part of that plan)

One day while awaiting a helicopter transporting soldiers a mortar landed between him and his fellow soldier. They looked at each other both felt like it was the end.

That mortar didn't explode and he went on to have 6 kids, 21 grandkids, currently 35 great grandkids, and two great-great grandchildren.

Lived a humble life on the family farm. We are doing everything we can to keep the farm in the family when the time comes. We have been lucky along to way to make this a reality.
