Any recommendations for whole-house water filtration? Chicagoland area, I don’t want reverse osmosis, but just eliminate all the standard heavy metals, toxins, etc. and definitely remove fluoride.

Lake Michigan water?

Yes, Lake Michigan

Have you had your water tested recently?

I have not. I should probably do that first.

Yeah that will help you determine what type of system you’ll need depending on the results

Makes sense. Is there a brand/manufacturer you recommend?

Not really, I try to stay with what I can get locally easily in case of issues.

You’ll probably be good with stuff you can get from Menards Home Depot etc.

Have you heard of Kangen? Here's a link to my friends affiliate: Kangen Water Demo
