All on chain metrics are BS and most likely overstate the number of individuals with > 1 BTC. Many of the >1 BTC addresses will be owned by the same entities. On the flipside many of the < 1 BTC addresses will also be owned by the same entities.

Good coin control should make on chain metrics useless.
