From my experience even the 2gb should be fine for a WoT relay. Mine hovers between 1-1.3gb ram used. I suppose it may depend on the amount of users accessing the relay.

I’m also curious about the fren relay. It’s the one where only your friends (follows) can write to. I wonder if that takes less juice than WoT. Seems less complex. Then again I’m not sure what it needs
Oh neat, I haven't even seen that one. I'm going to guess that would be the same or less than for resource usage, compared to the WoT version. I follow around 800, but my WoT is about 60000 npubs.
