Please make it possible that when I reopen the app it remains where I left off and the new messages to load just after that point. It drives me crazy that each time it jumps to the newest one and I need to first manually scroll down to find where I left off.

But it should save the position between sessions. It should only break now when the aoS kills the app.
That doesn't work right either. If I left my phone for a few hours (3-4). When I reopen it jumps to around 1 hour from the newest note.

Nope, that's why it's weird that it jumps to around 1 hour or 50 minutes from the newest note. If I reopen the app within an hour nothing changes but later it jumps. If the app was completely closed then when I reopen it it jumps to the first note.
