Can’t wait for the time when Europe learns about air conditioners

Could you get a window unit? What about radiant cooling? Seems nicer to me than forced air. I’m inside wearing layers right now.

Put a container of ice in front of the fan. So the air blows over the ice.

Do you not have access to a freezer and a bowl or something? Do they not have ice cube trays where you live? Convenience stores here have bags of ice you can buy.

Uh no. I think we know why air conditioning won’t catch on where you are. Also ice placed in front of a fan might have some cooling effect but not a tremendous amount. It would be more like a cool breeze.

If your huge fan in the dorm is a ceiling fan see if it’s rotating counter clockwise. That’s the best for a cooling effect. The ice is for like a tabletop or box fan.
