Nostr is very similar to Guns, in that they have to be effective but they don’t necessarily have to be used to achieve the desired outcome. It’s the existence of the option that presents a problem for the authoritarians.

At a base level It really could achieve its goal if no one uses Noster except when “they” where performing a psyop or censorship. Everyone comes to nostr gets the truth psyop stops, no need for Noster. Over exaggeration but you get the point.
