No restriction but the video has to be uploaded & hosted somewhere. The video then has to downloaded by clients.
Smaller sized videos are better.
I'd use Handbrake (FOSS) to resample at 720p resolution using H.264. That should significantly reduce your for size with no perceptible loss in quality for most users.
I wonder if a client does this manipulation automatically in the background. 🤔
It would have to be before uploading.
I know Amethyst is able to quietly compress videos before uploading. I'm not sure what Primal uses.
If I had produced the video, I wouldn't trust the encoding to a nostr client.
