This is systemic. We start off teaching 5 year olds real lessons like "there's no such thing as a free lunch" but then spend the next 12 or 16 years inundating them with the idea that they can just vote or expect to have what they want now & earn it all later 😔
Kids raised like this have a bastardized comprehension of the words "savings" "wealth" and "money"
