Tested this on a more recent note.
Seems as though “private” zaps throw the error above, but anonymous and public zaps haven’t caused the same issue (for me, at least).

Do you receive this error for this one user, or do you receive for all users?

If you can consistently recreate can you add an issue with all details needed to recreate:
Wallet(s) used
NWC used
Zap type, amount etc
Receiver(s) npub and zap address

Only some users, only some of the time, but Matt is right that it’s usually when they’re receiving zaps to their own node and/or have a slightly unusual zapping address. Although I’ve also noticed it when trying to zap people with the zbd.gg addresses.
I am typically not using NWC, just setting a default wallet to open from Damus - Phoenix, Zeus, previously WoS.
Zap amounts range from 69-5K sats. I’ll see if I can replicate reliably 🫡
