@jb55 if I'm going to entrust Damus web with my private key(s) anyway, why not let me manage them in the UI? I'd love to be able to easily click "generate a key pair", assign them a username/avatar, and then (perhaps on the right?) easily be able to switch between them, or ideally also integrate the ones I want to use at that time.

Loving the new UI so far btw! twitter-esque but very user friendly

all that stuff will eventually happen, but people need to understand that it's very early! like very very early for nostr. it's people doing stuff on their spare time, so users right now need to be supportive and understanding of the time and effort of others to put things together for free.

I'm patient and aware we're early. I'm just throwing my ideas/feature requests at @jb55 for creatively ideating, knowing that if he likes one, he'll implement in a few hours (otherwise maybe some day in the future, maybe never) :D
