I'm handing out free NIP05's. I do it manually and do not charge any fee. πŸ€™

NIP05 basically makes it easier to read your npub, as it is linked via a domain. This way you dont have to check the npub of the person contacting you, just check the short NIP05.

It's in no way a link to your twitter, email or things like that. Really just an easy way to make your npub ' email-like' readable. As a bonus most clients show it with a cool badge! βœ…

If you happen to run an own server/domain I recommend reading into hosting the nip05 yourself, it's fun and not hard to do!

No I just deleted the nip-05 info, saved it, shut down the app and when I went to put it back everything was gone

I think you need to clear your cache. Go to settings and where you see cache, click clear. Your profile should come back
