weird observation:

elitist neoliberals pronounce the “a” in the middle of their word’s differently. Rather than the a coming from the middle of their mouth, it comes from the back almost in the throat. And it’s not regional. It happens all over the US.

which also makes me wonder if the internet will begin to affect speech patterns by tribe rather than by geography.
