I’m on Zeus 0.8 beta. I used to use it as a remote connection to my home node, but I’m experimenting with using it as a mobile node which routes through my home node.

I can make payments between Zeus and my home node just fine, but all other tests I’ve tried like Wallet of Satoshi, CashApp, and ZapLocker receive payments have failed.

I may have configured the channel wrong, as my home node is only reachable over TOR so I used my local IP as the host name. That’s one (pretty big) self inflicted problem. However, I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be able to make/receive payments when I am connected locally. I cannot redeem the ZapLocker payment and an outbound payment is “stuck in transit”. My home node has a channel with WOS which should have plenty of liquidity for both those payments (~10,000 sats each) but no such luck.

I’ve clearly got a janky setup going on and it might just be my hardware/network configurations. I also understand Zeus is still beta, but the concept is great and I’d like to make it work. If I could onboard friends by directly providing them lightning inbound liquidity using Zeus, it would be very cool.
