I need some help fleshing out this idea.
I have a lot of books. Both in photography and in other areas such as psychology, history, alchemy, business, finance, etc, etc (great books trust me).
Would it be a good idea to rent some of these books out to people for sats?
I can make a list later, but open to hear if this idea has legs.

My instinct is you run the risk of not getting the book back, and anyone can borrow the book for free from their library, or request it. More people should use libraries, they’re amazing. If you’re not a member of your local library you should get in the car and go there right now (take proof of address).

My mind immediately went to the several books I lent to friends that I haven't seen in years... Maybe you could use an escrow in combination with bolt12 that drains sats weekly until you sign the book as returned?Also I personally dont think I would use a service like this because I'd then have to go through the trouble to send the book back, which is enough to make it more worthwhile to just buy my own copy... Unless you got some real rare gems.
