On my "recommendations" - I still weakly recommend my npub as the #1 method of reaching me electronically. I don't strongly recommend any electronic communication platform; my npub isn't a shitty to use as a phone number or an email address, but it still makes you pick between a bunch of shitty apps to contact me on. I don't even know of a way to use it without JavaScript. It still sucks. My recommendation can only be weak, but my recommendation also cannot be non-existent because I do still offer my npub as a way to contact me, and it is still not as bad as any other electronic method.

When it comes to individual nostr apps, I can't trust any of them not to mislead anyone I recommend them to. That means recommending any of them as a way to reach me isn't the same as recommending my npub in general. The word "recommend" would be too strong for any of them. I prefer trying to stick to words like "suggest" instead of "recommend." This is more consistent with how I'm always explaining how shit sucks instead of trying to sugarcoat it.
