He'll be just fine. Pros can do coin control on Monero or churn it like in a mixer if at some point encryption gets broken.
Than it would have the same privacy post encryption fail like Bitcoin pros have today on BTC.

Monero's design aims for inherent unlinkability. Bitcoin's open ledger remains. Mixing *after* exposure is not the same as never revealing; is that robust privacy?
