the "/.well-known/nostr.json" is going to have to have a "relays" field if this is going to work well. otherwise clients wont know what relay you find you on.
They can look you up in an index too
true. but we dont really have any of those yet. also relays are kind of like indexes? maybe in the future there is a relay that specializes in only having user metadata?
Had the same thought. Looot of potential solutions through specialized relays: for directories, segregated types/sizes of data, accessibility&functionality vs. price@ease-of-access, reducing/alternative prices;

How can I have such a NIP5 alias?
Coracle now supports finding users by nip05: go to menu > Search > Advanced and enter the user's nip05. Thanks to #[0] for the PR.
