I’d like to start a discussion about influencers and I like it to be fair and balanced and without any hate or love.

What is an influencer? What are they trying to influence and why?

If they have an agenda, for example, a political lobbyist and wish to change a law that is unjust, say apartheid in South Africa, great that is a noble cause.

If they are an independent representative of a clothes or fashion brand and they are using their personality to promote one brand over another in order to make a living. That’s fine, providing it is transparent and an honest relationship on both sides (the brand and the customers).

If they are filling a hole in their lives by pretending to live a life that is not real in order to cover a life that is unfulfilled, then let’s try to help.

If you truly live a fulfilled life, you have no need to influence or be influenced. I think that is the goal we all seek.

I agree except with the last paragraph.

I would describe my life as fulfilling; however, I strive to influence people to study our current monetary system and Bitcoin. I do this because I believe that our current system works well for very few and is highly unfair for the majority. I see the solution, or way out of this, in Bitcoin. It won't magically solve all the world's problems, but I am convinced that many societal issues we face today originate from a broken money. Bitcoin offers equal opportunities to everyone and treats all individuals the same.

I believe that when you see something in the world that you consider unfair, you try to change it.
