I’m now seeing posts from people I’ve never followed (and still don’t) in multiple clients.
Weird.
I’m now seeing posts from people I’ve never followed (and still don’t) in multiple clients.
Weird.
Same.
Odd.
Ok, who the fuck broke Nostr? 🤣
It may be hashtags. Hmm.
But I hardly follow any #
Hmmm
And I still see notes from people I have unfollowed and they’re not renotes either.
Hey Marie’ do you have a note ID of an example do this? If it’s on damus? Will try to see what the issue is nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5

Hi nostr:npub1el3mgvtdjpfntdkwq446pmprpdv85v6rs85zh7dq9gvy7tgx37xs2kl27r, if you restart Damus, do you still see posts from those users you have unfollowed? (I believe part of the issue is the home timeline not updating until the next app restart)
Thank you kindly Daniel
Did that fix the issue nostr:npub1el3mgvtdjpfntdkwq446pmprpdv85v6rs85zh7dq9gvy7tgx37xs2kl27r ?
So far yes
Nostr was intended to work this way. If we are on the same relay and im scrolling global i see you even though i dont follow you same with any client.
Not in my follows feed. I’m not speaking of global.
I sure you use multiple clients so im sure your follow list doesn't match every client you use. Could be that.
I didn’t test another client until I noticed the problem. I only use two clients. I run my own relay, and my follows list is always pushed there.
Any other ideas?
Everyone that uses 2 clients have problems
Just an observation maybe the good idea here is to stick with one client but i dont know im just a heavy heavy nostr user 🤷🏽♀️
I love the folks (not you) who say writing Nostr apps is easy. 🤣
The concept that people are scared to use two clients because one or the other would fail to emit valid JSON just wrecks that concept.
I hope people zap some devs.
Your client has a sneaky algo?
Is it maybe a boost that's not displayed clearly?
