As a general rule, any interesting things I’ve found over the years was because I looked in the same places as everyone else, but I spent 100x more time there digging deeper.

Something I realized at a young age looking at photos people would take of friends, family, events and tourist spots.. the most interesting and telling things in photographs is whats in the background.

There is some truth to the ‘I SPY’ books: looked at in a certain way, there is no subject and background, but only a variety of things to scrutinize
