Of late #primal is doing much better job on notifications .. bit disappointed with #Amethyst .. am I missing something ?

What are you missing? FYI, we just fixed a few bugs on version 0.90.3.
I was noticing that my notifications were quickly getting updated in Primal .. but not here in Amethyst .. I didn't do any controlled test ..
PS - I love #Amethyst so much that I was checking notifications in Primal and responding on Amethyst :-)

Here was the problem ( after little sober test :-)
In #Amethyst, you can choose notifications from "All follows " or "global" ..
I had it set on "All follows " .. and I was comparing it to Primal where there is no such top level filter .. of course you can fine-tune notifications through more settings in Primal ..
A suggestion - the default for notifications should be Global .. because for new users ( with not many followers ) , it is good to have sight on all notifications..
Veterans can always restrict their choice if they are flooded with too many notices ..
I believe they are Global by default 🤔
