The best thing to do here is probably to either suggest a NIP to the app of your choice and see if it's implemented or change client to a more NIP standardized client. I mostly use noStrudel because it gives me access to almost all of the "other stuff" transported by relays (including the little quality of life stuff like badges, emotes and other NIPS).

The beauty of nostr is that we can create and access ALL of social- and digital media through one client, the one of your choice. If a client wants to be "just a twitter clone" and notes is all you need or want then there is clients for that. If you want to "live the NIP standard", there is only few who actually allow that (or you have to jump around 10 sites. Still with just one "account" but you access all sites individually. Which is unnecessary if there is a NIP for that sites content.
