i’ll never understand parents ignoring their kids when they talk to them

Sometimes when the kid talks to you nonstop for 6 hours straight, there's no other option.
I understand, because kids can talk a lot. Really … a lot. Almost all is a nonsense.
Important is to not pretend listening, so kids will know when parent is listens and when not. And when parent is listening the message will be delivered.
I don’t think kids need to own 100% of the parent’s focus.
