It tasted similar but it was a little different than what we know as a passion fruit... I don't know, maybe a sort of passion fruit that we weren't familiar with?

So, some deep research at Google identifies it as a Granadilla … a variety of passion fruit (of which apparently there are 200 different kinds … you live, you learn 😂)
If you haven’t, try soursop (Guanabana) or Mammee (Mamey) … both are sooooo worth it and different from other fruits …
