With the new IRS rules about $600+ transactions, I wonder if people will start using bitcoin / lightning to make these transactions. I've seen one or two people on Facebook Market offering lower prices if paid in bitcoin.. wonder if this trend will catch on.
I'm not encouraging this (as it's going to be illegal), but I am speculating.
Interesting! I've thought about offering a lower price when selling on FB Marketplace, but for the sole reason of tempting people into trying it out as a medium of exchange. Didn't realize other people are actually doing this!
Yeah it seems like people are realizing how messed up these tax filing rules are and almost seem to be revolting. I love it.
