#Bitcoin builders would be well served by remembering why bitcoin found such early, strong product market fit with poker players (and for other illicit uses).

Talk to many of these people today, and they’ll say “I didn’t understand #bitcoin at the time…I didn’t know what I was holding”

And yet, they ‘adopted’ it, because it solved a big problem for them. It was a painkiller.

Bitcoin has come a long way since. Surely there are many more cohorts who have big problems to solve - that can be solved with the world’s only an open, permissionless monetary network, which settles instantly and finally.

We don’t need to educate such people about the value of #bitcoin, other than to the extent it helps them solve these problems. In fact, anything else is a distraction.
