Those computers had a specific smell to them as well, but after diving back into the retro world a bit I do not miss the days of IDE drivers and non-hotpluggable USB ports.

Me neither, just put the nice parts on modern tec: make some connecting sounds while joining wifi, blink lights and give some sound that the SSDs are working 😂
