I am interested in starting to bullet journal. Any one have any good resources to learn the system? I suppose getting the book vs the $250 dollar course is better? I kinda of want to go analog with my planning now. Sure, Todoist and Akiflow work great, but why am I spending on so much money, when it would be cheaper to go analog? Anyways, what are your techniques to stay productive and organized?

This is my daily driver. I don't use the bullet journal method exactly.. it's more just a task list. Inside the leather cover is just three field notes that I glued together to make "one" notebook. I like that it's small so I can take it everywhere I go.
The BJ method can easily be found on YouTube. Don't spend a shit ton of money on it.

I love your setup. Does that fit in your pant pocket? Ya, I think you are right about not investing too much money in starting. I was looking at the membership course and it's $249 dollars. I am not sure if it would be worth paying that much, but as you said I could find free content on Youtube that probably show me the method as well. Although the book seems like a fair deal to use.
No, that won't fit in my pant pocket unless I take the field notes out of the leather cover.
This video explains the bullet journal method. It's actually very simplistic. No need for a book to explain it IMO.
Many thanks! I badly want to go analog on a lot of things. This is a great start. I am looking into getting a dumb phone as well. Just need to disconnect for a while.
