Let's be honest, there are some really, really dumb people. How soon until we see an LLM religion emerge?

Not even joking. Current religions, you pray and don't get a response. Now, you have an always-on, nearly omniscient entity, which you can ask for guidance and it rapidly responds.

We have already seen cases of people developing intimate relationships with chatbots. You don't think it'll go one step further?

God is not a matter of clever answers to difficult questions. It's not even a matter of answers. It's a matter of trust and inspiration.

There will never an actual religion about LLMs...not as Christianity or Islam or Ebraism. There may be some mental bros treating LLMs as gods, but these are psycopaths.
