The New York Stock Exchange announced plans to launch NYSE Texas, a fully electronic equities exchange headquartered in Dallas, by reincorporating NYSE Chicago. Texas, hosting the largest number of NYSE listings with over $3.7 trillion in market value, will provide companies with a listing and trading venue centered within the southwestern U.S. economy.
