For the REALLY old-school folks, how about “fap-a-graph” (telegraph sexting)
we used to drive around... looking for girls to talk to, before text messaging existed.

or we'd go out dancing at a bar, and slowly work our way over to kinda where they were, bust some moves. lol
eventually they wanted to dance with you and you'd go out for a cigarette break. talk a bit, introduce yourself. ask them some stuff.

now all the girls just stay inside and expect to be text messaged, and for the guy to magically come over somehow.
believe you me, we know they're getting dozens if not hundreds of messages, most of them, and it's annoying, and we don't want to play into that.. its a waste of time, and it's embarrassing to my gender.
the only reason it works is because most of the guys doing it dont care about the people at all, and just want sex. sigh
