I agree that pasting private keys into clients is not ideal, but installing a plugin to log in is also not a great UX. Maybe if the plug-in was super simple with 1 step to get started and no complicated settings, and worked across all browsers - maybe then it could have a chance at working when scaled.

Alby = too many steps for wallet

Nos2x has confusing back end

Need something super simple .

Have not tested nsec bunker, seemed to be paid? Unless I’m doing something wrong …

I'm testing out Nostore for Safari on my iPad and it's kind of a hot mess.

It’s kind of crazy to install another “app” just to log into the one I want to log into.

Nostore is awesome once you get over the shock of how simple it is.

On Chromium/Firefox try Blockcore, it’s a nice alternative to whatever else is out there.

Will try it out Ty

I have trouble with Nostore not being able to display event names properly. It says Unknown too often.

What is one to do here? I have no idea how to proceed 🤔

Agreed and I am a noobie techie. Wallet integration and private key mgt have opportunities to be simplified. For mass adoption of regular users these areas will need UX and functional evolution.

Completely agree, this is the foundational problem for nostr, with no accessible solution in sight 🤷🏻‍♂️
