Tallow will make your skin feel smoother, as it mirrors the natural oils our bodies produce (sebum). Commercial "soap" isn't really soap at all. It is made up of harsh lab made chemicals, mostly surfactants, that strip your skin of everything, and actually destroys healthy skin.
