Subnostr

Medium as a blogging platform has become unusable for readers. They often require account to just read blogs. When I want to create, I can sign up, but I can't login. The magic link never works (tried different browsers). I can login with Google, but it also sucks.

Using nostr based publishing is just more user friendly. Habla news or Blogstack is great, works, does not need sign-ups or anything to read. You can tip authors using lightning (zaps).

It's sad that if I want to read a blog about fine tuning ai models or some tech blog, I end up for 10 minutes in medium sign up hell.

Seriously, if you just want to publish, you generate a keypair and broadcast to relays. No ads, no cruft, no accounts, nothing, just your words. And it's censorship resistant. You really can't beat nostr for publishing.
