#LearnToBuild was a great success!
Tons of ppl were able to reproducibly build Mk3 & Mk4. We don't need centralized websites as gatekeepers with wrong information.
You can do it too.
It's super easy.
Copy & Paste easy.
No one needs permission.

It's not that simple. Several of the builds fail, especially for MK3 https://stacker.news/items/197704

Yes I am able to successfuly build the latest MK4 and MK3 builds as documented in that SN post. The issue is mainly that older MK3 builds fail wjth error 1 or else fail to build altogether. Also i don't understand why the filesize of the MK3 build is so different to the downloadable binary file size, although that may just be me misunderstanding somethinbg. Much love to you NVK and all you do at Coinkite but I think the documentation for MK3 rb in particular could be a little better. For example, when the build fails with error 1 for 4.1.7 or 4.1.6 it seems it's just because of the build date ending up in the build file, it seems. Maybe just need some documentation explaining why that is and why it's not a big deal?
