Hello, I didn't mean this as a criticism of Zeus to clarify, I absolutely stand by your guys goal, and mission.

However, isn't the ability to transact based of the channels capacity?

I am willing to look into it more if I can still can recieve sats in excess of the channel capacity since that was my primary concern that a low capacity channel makes it more difficult to transact.

There is no offense taken. Just want to make it clear for others who may pass by your comment.

Channel capacity does restriction channel size on Lightning. That said you can pay a small fee for ZEUS’ LSP to put up all of the capital in the channel so that you can get onboarded.

Self-custody is not as expensive as some are making it out to be. Especially in today’s fee environment.

If you have any guides, or videos for setup I would like to learn more, my original intent was to store up ~$500 to ~$1,000 to avoid complexities but if this isn't necessary then I would like to set it up asap!

I appreciate your response.

The most economical channels are through our 'purchase in advanced' service, which can be purchased in app by hitting the 'Purchase inbound channel' button above the channels list view, or on the web at https://lsps1.olympusln.com/ - you DO NOT need to use ZEUS as your wallet to purchase them, any full Lightning node will do.

We haven't seen anyone make a tutorial yet but we aim to make our own that also highlight channels lease renewal functionality, if no one else does, sometime late in Q1.

Basic flow is this:

1) Connect as a peer to the ZEUS LSP node (done automatically if you use the mobile wallet - connection URI available to copy or scan on the web app)

2) On the create order view set your channel capacity and lease duration

3) Pay the invoice provided

4) Wait for your channel to confirm on-chain
