Dear #nostr,

Is there a way to send and receive #zaps 100% only via my phone and self-custody #lightning wallet using 100% free and open source wallet/apps? I have no google nor apple accounts. I do not install anything without reading the source first. I do not want any third parry add ins to my wallet (like sentry, google firebase, etc). As far as I can find, the answer is no. Please educate me on how to do this.

Yeah our Zaplocker setup is the only solution that fits the criteria but there are some caveats.

Looks interesting. Maybe I want to use a real OS (not remixed android) to do what I want.

We’re cross platform.

But this is the only real way to do a self custodial Lightning address without a 24/7 remote node.

I run a full btc node and can setup my own lightning node. Sounds like this is the only way to self host end to end here. Thanks!
