Okay, let's think about this logically from a bitcoin standard? I wish we could go back before the piece of shit FDR that killed many Americans in world War 2 as well as devalued the dollar by 40+%... Which actually is way better than since Tricky Dick Nixon in 1972. But I digress, getting a 50 year mortgage and saving the difference in Bitcoin will get you so much further ahead in 50 years. It's all math. Hell I think we'll probably see hyperinflation by then which would even be better for bitcoin holders.

If you're wondering why the 50-year mortgage idea is coming from the U.S. President, and that banks don't just already issue 50-year mortgages out of their own financial interests, it's because committing to a long-term static interest rate is a huge risk... unless, of course, the cost of that risk is being subsidized by the U.S. government.
