More and more progressives in the U.S. are waking up to the unfortunate reality that our government systems are broken and not working as intended (with checks and balances and reporting to/working for the people).
For many progressives in the millennial generation it began when reflecting on 9/11, then the 2008 great financial crisis and taxpayer bailouts for the rich, then Obama sending more death drones than previous presidents, then the captured DNC going against Bernie Sanders even though he had popular support, the election and “settling” on Joe Biden, a career politician who is far beyond his prime years (when he still made terrible decisions as a lawmaker), the violent police state going against peaceful protestors…the list goes on and on.
More progressives than you imagine are very open to solutions that do not involve the government, because the trust in our government solutions is severely broken. I am and was just before coming into bitcoin.
Millions of others just haven’t learned about bitcoin…yet.
