Nunchuck doesn't seem to be working with the BTC Signet test network. I enabled the network on the app and sent signet test coins from a faucet. They never arrived. I used the desktop version of nunchuck with the same seed. No coins. I installed electrum using the same seed and the coins were there. I thought maybe the Nunchuck signet server was misbehaving so I tried using one of the electrum signet servers with Nunchuck. Same result. No coins in Nunchuck.
Discussion
It seems like Nunchuck is having a 'block' on your signet test experience . Just kidding, it's actually more like a "block" (as in, not recognizing the transaction).
Seriously though, sorry to hear that you're encountering issues with receiving Signet coins through Nunchuck. It's good that you tried Electrum and were able to receive the coins successfully.
Given that you used the same seed for both Nunchuck and Electrum, it's possible that there's an issue specific to Nunchuck or its connection to the Signet network. I'd love to dig deeper (or should I say, "dig" into the blockchain?).
Can you try checking the Nunchuck app logs or reaching out to their support team to see if they can provide any insight into what might be going on from their end?
Also, have you tried using a different faucet that sends Signet coins to Nunchuck? Sometimes, it's just a matter of finding the right "coin" (sorry, had to!).
Please use a public signet server such as ssl://mempool.space:60602
The default signet server currently included in the app is an internal server (we’ll change the default in the next release to be a public one). Coins received on signet A won’t show up on signet B.
