I have also been unemployed, and I was borderline suicidal after a few weeks. I know I can be dour, but it's nothing compared to the darkest depths that await me when the day comes when I have no reason to get out of bed anymore and provide.

I also have to say no to UBI of any kind, also. Once you turn people into dependents they basically get stuck like that. They basically become degenerate.
Not even degenerate-lite, like smoking weed or something, but worse than that. Not to mention UBI will result in generations of people who have never gotten anything for themselves, only by taking things from someone else.
Anyone who is for UBI does not care about human wellbeing, in my opinion.
