I knew it was a wrap when I heard Snowden give a speech to an online child safety group. He basically said that it starts before the child is born with ultrasound photos being distributed online and elsewhere. It clicked for me more after that conversation. So a pivot is needed to protect freedoms. 💜
On the other hand… we have nostr, with its implied belief across users that “if our content online is owned openly, by everybody, uncontrollably, then it is owned by nobody”. So there’s that…
